The Brain Tumour Charity is at the forefront of the fight to defeat brain tumours, making a difference every day to the lives of people with a brain tumour and their families.
When a child or parent is diagnosed with a life-threatening illness, the impact on the family is huge and often life has to be put on hold. We support families that are dealing with these life altering daily routines of medicine, hospital visits and the constant worry this generates.
We also focus on the future to make sure less and less people will have their lives irrevocably changed by brain tumours. We so this by raising awareness about brain tumours along with supporting vital scientific research into brain tumours to understand them better and ultimately to defeat them.
When my wife Sarah passed away in June 2017, I was determined to be involved in some way with a Brain Tumour Charity. I was very touched and humbled by the dedication of Doctor Plaha and his team when they treated my wife at the Intensive Care unit at the John Radcliff.
I had many chats with Doctor Plaha on how I could help and in the winter of last year, we formed our own Charity dedicated to finding a cure for Glibstoma. In addition to Doctor Plaha, we have been joined by Doctor Richard Stacey who is a colleague of at the John Radcliff and Simon James who sadly lost his mother to a Brain Tumour.
Thank you for visiting our page and do join us in our quest to find a cure for this terrible disease.

My research interests are focused on using minimally invasive endoscopic techniques to resect brain tumours and advanced brain imaging technologies to develop individually-tailored treatment for brain tumours.
